As time went by people began moving to other parts of the world. This led to the learning of new ways to hunt animals. But even with that the original hunting way did not change. This was practiced mainly for survival. It provided food for people to eat. One of the methods used was trapping.
This was used to catch small animals such as birds, rabbits and squirrels. A sticky substance was placed on tree branches. When birds landed there they will be stuck then people come to collect them afterwards. They used seeds that birds like feeding on to attract them to the trap. Rabbits and squirrels were mostly caught using nets and ancient animal traps.
