Some of the technical disciplines under recreational diving include wreck diving, deep diving, ice diving, and cave diving. One may be employed as an instructor in the recreational diving community. Some among the job positions available in recreational diving communities include dive guides, divemasters, instructors, and assistant instructors.
Military diving also falls under scuba diving as a specialty. Various combat roles are undertake by military frogmen. Among the roles of frogmen include disarmament of mines, direct combat, infiltration behind enemy lines, installation of mines, engineering operations, use of manned torpedos, and bomb disposal.
